Dissociative Disorders
Many people have experienced trauma in their lives, ie ., through
childhood abuse, marriage abuse, war times, etc. that they had
to learn very different ways of coping with the world and thus
learned how to dissociate in order to keep going.
Dissociative disorders are claimed to be understood by some and
not recognized by others. Some believe that dissociation is more
a post traumatic stress disorder or a borderline disorder than
dissociation. Many dissociatives are afraid of the world and afraid
of opening up because of negation. We provide a safe place to
explore and understand your dissociation and find ways to be more
effective in the world.
